OutBand is a native macOS utility built to manage local Intel AMT configurations. This privacy policy informs you how your data is handled when you use the application.
1. Zero Data Collection
OutBand does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, technical data, analytics, or usage statistics. The developer does not run any central servers, tracking databases, or cloud backends for this app.
2. Complete Local Execution
All operations performed by OutBand take place entirely on your local machine and your local network.
- Credentials: Any Intel AMT usernames, passwords, profiles, or network configurations you enter are saved locally on your macOS device using standard local storage mechanisms. They are never sent to the developer or any third party.
- Direct Network Connections: The application establishes direct network connections strictly between your macOS device and your designated local Intel AMT hardware.
3. No Third-Party Analytics or Telemetry
The application contains no advertising networks, tracking pixels, crash-reporting frameworks, or telemetry tools. It has 3rd party code from the Open Source MeshCommander, and Forge.js but these components also have none of the above embedded within.
4. App Store Purchases
Payment processing, billing, and subscription management (if applicable in the future however unlikely) are handled entirely by Apple Inc. via the macOS App Store. The developer receives anonymised financial reports from Apple but never receives your payment details, billing address, or personal identifying information.
5. Contact Information
If you have any questions or need to report a software bug, you can contact the developer directly at: [email protected]
